RUN Harpenden Terms and Conditions apply to running with us on any runs or events, or booking any of our courses, sessions or workshops.

COVID-19

RunTogether

  • RunTogether is part of England Athletics, the membership and development body for grassroots athletics and running in England.
  • RUN Harpenden is a registered RunTogether Group and the RunTogether website handles all our runners’ registrations and bookings for our services.

Booking our services

  • To run with RUN Harpenden you will first have to register with RunTogether and book your place on the RunTogether website at https://runtogether.co.uk/.
  • To complete your booking you must accept BOTH the RunTogether Terms & Conditions AND the RUN Harpenden Terms & Conditions.
  • Payments are required in full at the time booking.
  • Payments are non-refundable.
  • Transferring your place to another participant is not permitted.

If RUN Harpenden cancel/postpone

Although every effort is made to ensure sessions take place as advertised, in some circumstances RUN Harpenden reserves the right to cancel a course or sessions or to relocate to the nearest suitable venue; e.g. if insufficient participants have registered, or the venue becomes unavailable at short notice through unforeseen circumstances.

RUN Harpenden will contact all participants using your registered contact details to inform you of a cancelled or postponed course or session. This will be followed up by email to confirm either details of alternative courses or sessions or that a refund has been issued.

Cancellation of Stand-alone Session/Workshop/Run

  • Cancelled at any time before the start:  FULL REFUND inc. booking fees

Cancellation of Multi-part Courses/Groups/8-week Blocks/1-1 Coaching Blocks

  • Cancelled at any time before the start:  FULL REFUND inc. booking fees
  • Session or sessions cancelled or postponed after the start of the course: If any session is cancelled through unforeseen circumstances, RUN Harpenden will provide opportunities for participants to attend another session at no extra cost. If within 12 months the participant has been unable to transfer to a suitable session they will be entitled to a refund for the cancelled session/s.

Can I cancel & get a refund?

Almost all of our sessions incur considerable advance time & financial costs because of our use of private venues, equipment purchase/hire, planning, material & course book development and printing, transport and qualified coaches.

Cancellation of Stand-alone coached Session/Workshop

  • NO REFUND for any reason.
  • Transferring your place to another participant is not permitted.

Cancellation of Multi-part Courses/Groups/8-week Blocks/1-1 Coaching Blocks

  • NO REFUND for any reason.
  • Transferring your place to another participant is not permitted.

RunTogether T&C’s (17.3) do allow a refund for a single run. Some RunTogether groups offer simple runs led by run-leaders around roads and parks that can be cancelled at short notice without incurring costs. This is rarely true at RUN Harpenden although at times when we do offer single Run-Leader Led Runs, we do offer refunds on this basis.

Cancellation of single Run-Leader Led Run

  • Cancelled more than 24 hours before the start of the session:  FULL REFUND inc. booking fees
  • Cancelled less than 24 hours before the start of the session:  NO REFUND for any reason.
  • Transferring your place to another participant is not permitted at any time.

Please read carefully our refund and cancellation policy. Our goal is for a transparent policy that leaves no room for confusion. All participants must tick the box in agreement to this policy in order to register for any of our courses, sessions or coaching. Only book, if you agree 🙂
