from OUR RUNNERS

Ready to take the plunge and join us?
Or understandably apprehensive?

“will I be able to keep up?”
“I won’t know anyone!”
“perhaps I’m too old, or unfit, or overweight.”
“I’ve never run before.”
“I can’t even run for 10 seconds!”
“I’ve run before but want to start over.”
“will I get left behind, if I miss a session?

Run with us.

No matter how slow you think you are, it doesn’t matter. The classes are designed to suit everyone and are very inclusive.

Sally

I feel a lot happier and fitter too! 🙂

Catherine

Buy a good sports bra, chuck out your apprehension and then go for it, best thing I have done in years!

Lianne

Lots of support and encouragement ensure success for everyone and no one ever feels left behind.
I feel so much fitter and happier!

Jayne

Running with new friends is definitely “chicken soup for the soul”
I can’t thank you enough for giving me the skills, confidence & self-belief this year, that I too, can be a runner!

Tracy

I loved the warm and encouraging approach from coaches Andy and Graham and the women in the group inspired me to run faster and harder than I had for a long time.

Running with a group of people who are there for lots of different reasons is such a life-affirming activity and I have really enjoyed my sessions.

So give it a go. You won’t regret it.

Liz

I feel like the slowest and least fit in the group, but the coaches are really good at making sure the sessions are accessible, and that we work according to our ability.

Teresa

During my first session at RUN Harpenden, Andy had us play various running related introduction games and when I left, I knew every group member’s name and a few tidbits about themselves. We had even set up a WhatsApp group to support each other with the first week’s homework runs, which was a great motivational tool.

Today, as part of the HEADWAY group, I am looking forward to every Tuesday. I am so happy that I found such a welcoming group of like-minded people who support me in every step of my running journey and who have become friends beyond the world of running.

Tanja

I am loving my running journey.
